Who we are
Edinburgh
South Cricket Club will be a “controller” of the personal information that you provide
to us through this website and in person. Hitssports (who run the website we
use) are the data processor.

register interest in playing with Edinburgh South Cricket club, we will collect
the following personal information and hold it:

name – First Name, Second Name (and any middle names etc.)
Telephone

Email

data will be used to contact you in regards to
Match
availability
Notification
of selection
Where
deemed appropriate by the committee, providing you with information relating to
what is happening with the club
What is the
legal basis for processing your data?
Explicit
consent of the data subject so that we can keep you informed about matches to
be played, selection for matches and information on the club
We
will not share your personal data
Only
committee members can access and process your data – this access is regularly
monitored
How long we
keep your personal information
The data controller will keep
your personal data, and keep you informed of club information until you request
to be removed. Upon request, we will remove you from our database. There will
be a process undertaken to cleanse the database of all non-required personal data
and a periodic check to ensure this standard is kept.
Your rights
You can
exercise any of the following rights by contacting us through the website or
directly to a member of the committee.

relation to your personal information are:
You
have a right to request access to the personal information that we hold about
you by making a “subject access request”;

you believe that any of your personal information is inaccurate or incomplete,
you have a right to request that we correct or complete your personal

have a right to request that we restrict the processing of your personal

you wish us to delete your personal information, you may request that we do so.
