Match report On a perfect day for cricket at The Arns, Thomas batted staunchly at the top of the order and later Gordon McConnell was rewarded for some unorthodox strokes mainly in a last wicket stand of 27 (largest of the innings) with Alastair. Three early wickets for Russel and one for Gerry caused some anxiety in the "Wee County" ranks but we were unable to apply the pressure needed to turn that into panic.
