A keenly contested friendly played in mainly bright sunny weather (for a change)was lost by 2 wickets due to the season long difficulty of being unable to post a decent total. The loss of three wickets in the 13th over and two in the 20th highlighted the scarcity of partnerships. The only stands of note were 29 for the 1st wicket (Scott & Thomas0 and 23 for the 8th wicket (Jim & Alistair. Ashraff was the top scorer and witnessed the 13th over carnage. Bowlers and fielders, whose sharpness brought two run outs, worked hard but could not cut down the Acccies before they reached their target.
