For both sides the features of this match in which E.S. 2nds staggered rather than surged to victory,were sixes and batting collapses. Stuart saw us home with a square drive for four but a surge had seemed likely during stands of 45 (Derek M and Shree for the 4th wicket) and 23 (Derek M and Cameron for the fifth). Shree's running had been particularly noteworthy in his partnership.
In the field,Kshitiz removed the danger man (Imran 56 in 30 mins.)in the second over of his second spell and then wrapped up the home innings aided by Asanka who recovered from a mauling in his opening over. Earlier Matthew had claimed the scalp of stylish opener John Watt (38).
