We got over the line "with a little help from our friends" as the song says, Mitre master, Iain Murdoch, made a brief come back to make a fluent contribution to an unbroken last wicket partnership of 28 with Ian Ross. Iain's son Greg also played and showed up well in the field. Ian had a splendid first ever match,Matthew made a highly significant all round contribution while Gus shouldered a heavy workload and Peter captained and kept wicket.
