Charlie Barratt Member profile Charlie Barratt
When the rhythm is right and he’s firing on all cylinders there’s nobody bowls faster in this league or many others. Acrobatic and spectacular fielder and a bit handy with the bat as well.
Andrew Barrie Member profile - no photo available Andrew Barrie
A young player who bowls slow, wicket to wicket pies but gets wickets
James Brims Member profile James Brims
Simply "The Legend" - has taken over 1000 wickets and scored almost 10000 runs for Mitre/Edinburgh South. Captained the team for 1980 to 1999!!!
Dale Cooper Member profile Dale Cooper
RHB and part time bowler - either high, flighty, "spin" or slightly less high, flighty "seam"
Mark Dutton Member profile - no photo available Mark Dutton
RHB Right arm seam bowler
Eric Foggitt Member profile - no photo available Eric Foggitt
Getting back to the nagging line and length with a bit of flight-variation in the bowling... annoying lower-order bat who can hang around a bit. Would be nice to score a half-century some time...?
James France Member profile James France
Right Arm Medium-Fast Bowler. Middle order RH bat.
Will George Member profile Will George
Enthusiastic wicket keeper batsmen (but will bowl slow medium.  if required). Excited about his first season in Scotland. Looking forward to improving his all round game and encouraging his team mates to do the same. Likes to make himself heard in the field.
Dan Harper Member profile Dan Harper
My father looks like WG Grace!
Alastair Jack Member profile Alastair Jack
Rumoured to have played in the same team as W G Grace. Alledgedly carried his bat for 1 not out when opening the batting in a 20 over game ... or it might have been a 40 over game. Our oldest playing member and in danger of achieving legendary status!
Pete Kingsley Member profile Pete Kingsley
RHB and right-arm filth

I Love Cricket. About me...Good Batsman & Decent Bowler. Hoping to score another 50 this season...fingers crossed...

RHB and geriatric right arm seamers.
Paul Murphy Member profile Paul Murphy
If your strike rate is above 25, then you're taking unnecessary risks.
Cameron Orr Member profile Cameron Orr
After a 20 year sabbatical in Yorkshire I've returned to God's country... right hand bat right hand bowl... enthusiasm wins over skill. I'm going to be taking many wickets during the 2009 season, a revelation I tell thee!
Amin Pirani Member profile Amin Pirani
Talented hard-hitting batsman with the target of scoring his first club 100 this season. Managed 87 in 2007 so he might well achieve his aim. More than useful spin bowler and an enthusiastic fielder and appealer!!! Often sees plumb LBWs from deep mid-wicket which those with a better view have failed to spot!
Bill Polson Member profile Bill Polson
Long serving right hand bat, who has batted through the order from 1 to 11, and off spinner(at least in August at Inch Park). Has also filled a number of positions on the East of Scotland C. A. committee. Anxiously awaiting the relaunch of the second eleven. For 2008 make that the third eleven. aka Mr Mitre

(born 22 October 1978 in Karachi, Pakistan) is an English cricketer. A middle-order batsman, he has played for Middlesex since his youth and has represented England in all forms of the game.
Between 2001 and 2009, he played 71 ODIs and 17 Twenty20 Internationals. He also played 6 tests, starting with a strong 88 on debut against India in 2006. However, opportunities were limited and he did not make his third appearance until 2009 againt the West Indies and in 2008-2009 he was dropped. With Michael Vaughan retired and Ian Bell dropped, he had the opportunity to claim the number 3 position for himself, however a weak series saw him dropped in favour of Ravi Bopara.
He has also represented the Indian PremierLeague team Kokata Knight Riders during the 2009 and 2010 seasons, before being bought by Kochi Tuskers for the following two seasons. He also had a short stint at the Wellinton Firebirds in New Zealand.

I was a good batsman who could bowl a bit in my initial days. I have been identified as a good bowler by the club but my interest is to play as a middle order batsman and gain the same recognition for my batting by the club and i am eager and confident enough to prove it.
