Match report Its been a while so this is short and a test of memory...

We ran Tranent hard. They happen to be pretty good...

We batted first as the Belters won the toss and posted 56 runs. Humza Jamal top scored with 16 and we had Will George return which is a great thing. Findlay and Dougie Russel got 2-9 and 2-1 respectivly.

In reply Tranent got our total in the 17th over for 6 wickets. It was a shame.

1st wicket was odd but great sportsmanship by Tranent. We didn't appeal (or notice the bail dislodged) but the umpire did. After a quick chat we got wicket 1.

Adam got 5 (Pans vs Tranent, rivalry as old as time...) and Irving got a wicket.

Close but no cigar...
