Match report Much of our bowling was too short or gave the home batsmen width to free their arms. Such offerings were frequently despatched to the boundary. Matthew was the exception to this trend and he held on to a steepling catch in addition to his good bowling figures.
Peter and Gerry batted positively to put on 52 in 15.3 overs for the first wicket but only three other partnerships, for the 4th, 5th and 10th wickets, reached double figues.
