Edinburgh South cricket club won the Terry Newcombe Memorial Trophy for the second time when they defeated near neighbours Kirkbrae by five wickets at Inch Park. Kirkbrae posted a target of 97 to win, batting out their 20 overs. South got home with 3.4 overs to spare. Crucial to the win was a 68-run stand between George O’Neill and Nab Pani who was Player of the Match with a knock of 46 from 34 balls including six 4s.
