Match report A massive victory achieved by our batsmen. Kshitiz claimed an early wicket with a swinging delivery and commanded respect throughout but, Eric apart, much of the rest of the bowling was moderate and the fielding sloppy in allowing short singles and giving away unnecessary overthrows.
Facing a total of around 50 more than had previously been par, Sohail and Praveen got us off to a flying start reaching 50 in 7 overs before Praveen fell for 50 with the score on 86 after 10.5 overs. Samab joined Sohail and they put on 115 with the former providing the power and the latter the style and control. When Samab departed for 55, a few late blows by Asanka took us home with more than ten overs to spare leaving Sohail undefeated with an accomplished 66.
