Match report Vishnu and Tanny both claimed an early wicket after Kirk Brae had been asked to bat in a 30 over contest. Their main stand (46) followed but Akshay broke it during a testing spell of accurate bowling which earned him a second wicket in his final over. Andrew's two victims were both bowled while catches had gained Akshay his wickets. On a dull afternoon with conditions wet both underfoot and overhead the fielders show improved support for the bowlers.
Twelve runs off three overs looked promising but in deteriorating conditions with the ball keeping low and making splash marks on pitching there was a collapse to 19 for 6. Paul and Pete managed a mini-stand of 14 for the seventh wicket but the end came soon after they were parted.
