Match report Match was reduced to 40 overs per side after half hour delay due to rain. Asanka lost the toss for the first time this season and Edinburgh South CC 2nds was put into bat. ESCC 2nds started off cautiously in overcast and windy conditions and reached 38-2 after 20 overs. Abhishek and Asanka started to accelerate through the middle overs but succession of wickets due to indecisive running and disciplined bowling from Clackmannan brought a premature end to the innings.

Despite the low score, ESCC 2nds fought hard with some disciplined bowling. Abhishek was the real star of the show capturing 6 wickets. Fielding once again let us down as many as 5 catches went down.
