Match report On winning the toss for the Fourths acting captain Vishal consulted with his team before electing to bat. Ross and Vishal put up contrasting resistance to the Thirds bowling attack but both fell to well directed deliveries from Colin Mills who was well supported by Richard Tresidder from the golf course end. Peter Fyfe and Robert Edwards soon took the Thirds to their target.
Follwing a break for tea composite teams led by Richard and Robert played a close and enjoyable T20 match in which Colin kept wicket, we saw Robert displaying his bowling skills, having seen his batting in the league match and Peter Russian made what he claimed as his highest score in any form of cricket.Batsmen retired at 25 but, as Colin did, returned if the rest of their team were dismissed. The match was not an official club fixture so does not count in club records and averages but the brief scores were:
Edwards' Eagles: 121/5 (Colin M 60*, Gerry 27*;Taha Ansari (OCCC member on Edin Leisure duty) 2/3, Brad 2/7)
Rresidder's Tornadoes 120/3 (Peter R 26*, Brad 25*).
