Match report Musselburgh won the toss and batted.They compiled a big total thanks to a stand of 138 for the third wicket between opener R. Ullah (105*) and captain Raj Tufail (67). There was an hour's break for rain, during which tea was taken, and the 'Burgh score advanced from 76 for 2 from 27.2 overs at that point to end on 222 for 6 from the regulation 50 overs. Manu had held a fine caught and bowled to claim our first wicket and Charanjit and Rajeev both returned worthy bowling figures even though the former bowled his last five overs when the visitors were on the charge.
In our innings Roshan scored a good undefeated fifty - his first in "hardball" cricket. However we were unable to produce a significant partnership although four, ranging from 20 to 27, threatened to do so.
