Match report Our reluctant visitors from West Lothian had been 'phoning regularly during the morning telling us how poor the weather was and had been in their part of the country. In the hour before the scheduled start at 1 p.m the sun was shining on Inch Park,the wicket had been covered overnight and we had no doubt that we would be playing despite the forecast of showers. The first of these appeared about 12.40 but play started at 1.13 with Fauldhouse Victoria batting. The showers proved heavier and more persistent than anticipated and play was limited to 31 overs bowled in three sessions of play.
In these we captured five wickets and all four claimed by the bowlers were clean bowled. Farhan struck twice with swinging deliveries in the early overs, Roshan grabbed one in a tight spell covering overs 9 to 23 and Wiqas bagged his when the batsman swung and missed. The other was a run out when Karl recovered quickly to get the ball in after a diving stop in the gully as the striker charged towards his partner.
