Match report A fantastic start to our debut appearance in the Women's Premier League.

Although we had a strong presence of senior players, with Whitey debuting with a quickfire 55 to get the innings started in a great opening partnership with Catherine Holland, the main contributions came from our junior players which was great to see. The pick of which was 13 year old Katherine Fraser who showed her credentials with the bat scoring an unbeaten 68*, backed up by two wickets for just four runs with the ball.

Jessica Shaw set the tone in defending the total bowling excellent lines at a good pace (4-1-3-1) and Iona Lowry (5-2-6-1) and Chloe Kiely (2-0-3-1) picked up wickets in the middle order. This left senior players Louise McArthy (2-1-1-2) and Hannah Shorty (1-1-0-1) to close out the winnings for a comprehensive win first up.

An excellent start to our new partnership, well done to all involved.
