Match report "An ugly win " quoth the skipper as we wound down after the match. Maybe, but there were Edinburgh South heroes. First to step up was Kalyan who brought the Boroughmuir innings to a full stop by taking a hat trick having earlier nipped a ball back to bowl 'Muir's young Eastern Knight Alexander Hodge to make the visitors 44 for 2. Kalyan also took a catch, falling forward at deep mid on, off Khalid to separate the openers. Next to come forward were Harry and Charlie Barratt who saw the side to victory with an undefeated partnership of 55 for eighth wicket in 9.1 overs. Harry's 56 ball innings contained four boundaries and two sixes, which certainly contained a WOW factor. Charlie's first task had been to defend a potential hat trick ball and it finished with a four to bring the scores level and the winning single. Earlier in the match Harry had taken 2 for 17 while Charanjit, who hit a straight six off the first ball of our innings, had given our innings a quick fire start towards the 148 which Boroughmuir had made after being put in to bat.
