Match report A convincing win after being put into bat. If there had been a Player of the Match Award it would, undoubtedly, have gone to Katherine Fraser who scored her first hundred from the number 1 position. Katherine ran well between the wickets throughout her innings, consolidated for a spell after reaching 50 (2 x 4) and expanded her range of shot as she closed in on her century which she reached with a straight driven 4 towards the burn. This was the fifth boundary of her second 50. At this point Katherine retired after 28.2 overs. Catherine Holland (22) was also in good form rotating the strike well in an opening partnership of 71 in 15.2 overs. When Katherine retired she had added 93 in 11.4 overs with Kathryn White who finished 39 not out.

Chloe Kiely took a wicket with the third ball of the GWC innings and wickets were taken at regular intervals thereafter. Nine bowlers bowled with Emma Phipps and Iona Lowry both claiming two victims.
