Match report The seconds continued their winning run at Duloch Park in a match with an above average excitability factor. A partnership of 51 for the 3rd wicket between the Rupanis was ended when Sohail was caught at short fine leg for 26. Both brothers batted with skill and application and Zoheb went on to make a solid 61, including a partnership of 42 with Jim for the 5th wicket. The innings fell away when they were dismissed in successive overs.
Kismet made decent early progress after Johnathan had combined with Sohail to run out their number 1 bat. Gerry's introduction to the attack transformed the position with a wicket in each of his first two overs while at the other end Asanka removed the lively S. Ali. Apart from one blow for 6, out of 8 runs he he gave up, the home middle order were mesmerised by Gerry's flight and guile as 5 for 8 in 8 overs testifies. When he claimed his 5th victim Kismet were 58 for 8 so it was disappointing that our intensity dropped to the extent that they addded 40 for the 9th wicket. However Zoheb and James France closed out the win
