Match report Due to concerns about fading light the match umpires reduced the Final of the "Braw Skelp" Trophy to 16 overs a-side.
Nab again won the toss and decided to bat. Praful and Charanjit put on 22 for the first wicket in 2.1 overs before the former was caught. At this point Nab again came in at No. 3 and this time stayed right to the end of our 16 overs, finishing on 63 not out. Charanjit who had scored 9 in the opening stand was second top scorer with 22. In the undefeated partnersdip of 21 in 9 balls for the 8th wicket Nab took his score from 43 to 63 while Rudi scored 1 from the only ball which he faced.
Our bowlers made sure that Musselburgh, on their own Lewisvale Park, were never up with the required rate. Naveen, Farhan and Rudi, in that order, all took a wicket in the first eight overs while Mir claimed 2 wickets with his pace in the second half of the home innings. Thus our season was completed by winning our second Cup to go alongside the Division 1 Trophy.
