Match report Batting first, George and Harry plundered early runs with the latter leading the initial charge before being first out with the score on 67 after 7.2 overs. George continued to score all round the wicket reaching his century with the team's innings having been going for 17.2 overs. He finished undefeated on 136 and added 127 with Paul in an unbroken partnership of 127 for the third wicket.
With the ball Charlie made the initial breakthrough when coming on to bowl the 5th over and rearranged the stumps for a second time when removing the home number 3, Humpage, whose raw approach had looked threatening. George switched the bowlers around and Rudi and Jas both emulated Charlie by bowling their victim while Nipun's spin earned him 3 wickets. Oliver, after 3 tidy overs as our second bowler, returned to bowl a 4th over in which he gained a deserved wicket thanks to a catch by Jas.
