Our 3 bowler attack did have the our opponents 42 for 5 after 7.5 overs but their No. 6 (Cailin) and No. 7 (Aoife, the captain) both retired with scores of 26 and 23 respectively and although M-Dafs lost all their available wickets they had reached a good total. Our batters fell to a group of mainly quickish young home bowlers against whom both Isla K and Marcelina enjoyed finding the boundary.
