Match report Having lost the toss, 2XI were asked to bat on a sunny day. We found ourselves 2 wickets down for just 13 runs. Andy and Sohail batted sensibly taking the score to 54 before Andy got out. Wickets continued to fall from that point onwards with some resistance coming from Yogesh. Both Yogesh and Andy batted well on a difficult wicket.

Watsonians were deep in trouble at 44-6 after Gus took three wickets and Asanka took 2 wickets. However, younger of the cousins batted well to take them home with plenty of overs to spare. There were few close calls in that long partnership but luck was certainly not on Edinburgh South 2XI side.
