Match report Losing the toss again, ESCC2 were inserted. Will, Praveen and Ram all perished after promising starts, as we reached 40 for 4 after 9 overs. The scoring rate slackened until Asanka and Daryll seized the initiative in a 38 run eighth wicket stand. In the end 106 seemed a defendable total on a damp outfield.

It wasn't long before rain interruped the Musselburgh innings. Daryll and Jack each bowled impressively, especially allowing for the deteriorating conditions. But soon we all succumbed to the incessant rain. A frustrating "no result" but at least we got something of a game after three blank weeks.

Great credit to the Musselburgh lads who prepared the pitch on the morning of the game, hoping for better luck with the weather.
