Match report Matthew got our innings off to a brisk start, Sohail kept the board ticking while at one end former Mitre regular Scott Miller was adding a further three victims, at a cost of 16 runs, to his haul of wickets for SW and when his spell was finished Abhishek also reached the retirement figure. Luke and Durga hit and scampered to add runs during the closing overs.
Only one of the four wicketkeepers in our side was required to bowl as our bowlers and fielders kept the short handed Scottish Widows batting line up in check apart from a brief flurry by the ever dangerous Edwards who was caught in the deep by Matthew off the bowling of Ian Astley.(For the record it was Will who had the gloves.)
