Match report The final match of the season was played on a glorious sunny early September Sunday which was warm enough for the scorer to remove his jacket.
Our bowling was opened by the father and son partnership of Dominic and Thomas Dobson, the latter making his debut in Senior cricket.
Gerry Dodson, our long serving purveyor of "cunningly flighted spin", left arm of course, had to retire from the contest with a dislocated thumb sustained in trying to hold a hard hit caught and bowled chance. Gerry did complete his over, a wicket maiden, as the batsman played too early at the next delivery and lobbed a catch to point which was taken by Dom.
Luke and Karamjit were the mainstays of our batting.
