Match report A delayed start, a match shortened to thirty overs ,fielding first after winning the toss and a sunny afternoon at ever windy Meggetland were all components of this match which ended disappointingly. Did the sun and wind dry the pitch to the extent that we batted on a sticky wicket ? Certainly the home bowlers got more unusual bounces from the wicket than we had and these caused the downfall of several of our batsmen. The key innings of the day came from home number 5, A. Hussain, who made 65* in the 21 overs he was in the middle.
