Match report Carlton a brisk start when batting first after winning the toss in this 35 over contest. However Farhan dismissed both openers. His first victim fell to a good catch by Daniel at mid off. Accurate bowling by Dean, Daniel, Vipin and Eoghan succeeded both in slowing the scoring rate and taking wickets. Our reply started with a run out off the second ball but Charanjit attacked the home bowling until he was second out, caught behind for 44 off 35 balls, with our total on 57 after 11.3 overs. Will had given strong support in a stand of 54 with Charanjit. George played positively for 25* and it was appropriate that he scored the winning run. Nab, Vipin and Kiran all made handy contributions with the bat to take us home to a 4 wicket win in after 30.4 overs.
