Match report With the score on 98 for 8 around the 25 over mark the 2nds position appeared somewhat precarious. However, Paul, who had gone in at the fall of the second wicket with 31 on the board, had been scoring well and was joined at the wicket by Kalyan M. Batting diligently with little risk, running well between the wickets but not neglecting to take boundary opportunities when they arose, they added 70 for the 9th wicket and with Sriram helping to add a further 17 for the last wicket we reached 185 with only one ball of our 40 overs unused. This was probably 25 more than our best hopes when the partnership between Paul and Kalyan started.
Muir's experienced opening partnership of George Dickson and Irfan Mohammed withstood our opening bowlers but Kalyan's introduction to our attack was an immediate success as he dismissed Dickson with the score on 41 and his opening partner 5 runs later. Only one more run had been added when Aaron claimed our third wicket. Sriram then removed numbers 4 to 7 in the visiting order at mimimal cost leaving Harry to capture our 8th wicket of the day.
