Edinburgh South Cricket Club (ESCC) is delighted to announce that it has been awarded a £3,000 grant from the Corra Foundation. This vital funding will support the club's mission to foster an inclusive community where everyone has the opportunity to play.
The grant will support two key initiatives:
- Expansion of coaching: Providing dedicated training sessions for women and junior players to develop their skills and passion for the game.
- Financial accessibility: Subsidising membership fees for individuals and families on low incomes, helping to ensure that financial barriers do not prevent anyone from joining the ESCC family.
Paul Reddish, Co-chair of Edinburgh South Cricket Club, said:
"We are incredibly grateful to Corra for this support, which is a huge boost for our community outreach. This funding is essential for our day-to-day operations, allowing us to broaden our impact and help ensure that high-quality cricket is open to the whole community, regardless of background or financial means."
