Edinburgh South Cricket Club Won Technicality...

Match report This is an odd 1. Technically, we lost...Freuchie messed up paperwork or something so we win! Man of the Match Graham Smith!!!

We lost the toss, forced to bat. Started well with Si and Rossi getting to 45 without loss by 9th over in a game reduced to 25 overs as, well, Scottish summer..

Si was bowled and Ollie caught in the following over. Luckily Rahul and Rossi haulted our middle innings collapse! Rahul ended up on 34 in a brilliant innings mixing cricket shots with quick runs and good boundaries scoring at almost a run a ball.
Rossi (lets not give him any credit here) hit a great 51! The chinese cut has never seemed such a high scoring shot. On 51 he was bowled sadly.

Aaron hit a quick 8 and didn't troubled at all. Brad hit his only ball for a run before trying to run 2 on the last ball and being run out. Good idea, would have made if they didn't hesitate.

Wallace and Welsh started out for Freuchie and got to around the 18th over before Ollie, who gets better every week, got Welsh caught.
Howits came out and, swung a lot but didn't connect early. Eventually he hit they were huge, clearing the pavillion a few times. He scored 29 in an over but was almost out as a ball zipped past the stumps. 1 over turned it but next week they wouldn't have scored off. Odd game and a funny end.
