New Funding Boosts Edinburgh South Cricket Club Following CDTS Grant
Edinburgh South Cricket Club (ESCC) is delighted to announce it has successfully secured a significant grant from the Cricket Development Trust Scotland (CDTS).
This vital funding has enabled the club to complete the installation of a state-of-the-art artificial pitch at Inch Park, marking a major milestone in the club’s ongoing facility improvement programme.
The high-performance surface will provide a reliable venue for the club's growing men’s, women’s and junior sections, helping matches and training sessions continue despite the unpredictable Scottish weather.
Martin Richardson, co-chair of Edinburgh South Cricket Club, said:
“This facility is a game-changer for our development as one of the city's most inclusive clubs. We are incredibly thankful to CDTS for supporting our vision to provide top-tier facilities for all our members.”
Robbie Nellies, representing CDTS, added:
“CDTS is delighted to support clubs like Edinburgh South that demonstrate a clear commitment to growing the game. This new pitch will serve as a vital community asset for years to come.”
